Subconscious mind represents 90% of our psychological being and the conscious mind 10%.

In between the conscious and subconscious mind, the Critical Conscious Faculty, is acting as a filter.

When we are in a hypnotic state, this filter is less active.

The main role of the subconscious mind is to protect us, to keep us alive and happy, based on its storage content.

The conscious mind register immediate situations and very often the subconscious mind provides the learn reaction to a similar stimulus to be immediately used.

Often, certain habits or feelings we experience, certain reactions, behaviours, thoughts or feelings are just automatically manifesting and have a negative impact on our life.

People become unwell due to physical causes such as accidents or physical illness, but often there are  influences from the subconscious mind, creating or exacerbating symptoms.

With its protective role, subconscious mind can really prevent sometimes a person to reach their potential in life or a state of wellbeing.

Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation and focus of mind, and during hypnosis the subconscious mind can be easier accessed.

Hypnosis can be achieved with relaxation and focus techniques.

A hypnotherapist is able to support patients to produce positive changes at subconscious level, by exploring what the subconscious mind learned and uses to enable us to react in a way or another to what happens.

By working with subconscious irrational beliefs, unwanted habits, traumas, unpleasant feelings, different parts of ourselves, reactualising old and unhelpful tendencies and reprogramming for healthier, more positive ones, a hypnotherapist is a professional guide in the patient’s personal transformation.

Hypnotherapy cannot cure physical illness, but can support the person to manage better the symtoms.

Hypnotherapy helps with personal growth and self control.

I use a combination of hypnotherapy techniques and models:

With me, a hypnotherapy session always includes an introductory and a reflective focused conversation, before and after the hypnosis work.

Depending on specific client and issue, a session with me can last between 1 hour and 1.5 hours.

The number of sessions vary between one off session, set number of sessions for specific treatments or ongoing sessions as needed.

Some interventions require homework tasks.

Recordings and other materials will be provided for certain treatments .

Therapy is a fascinating and great way of supporting people to overcome many issues that are preventing them from living the life they want.

Deciding to give yourself some personal space and exploring where you stand at this moment in your life, can be a tricky and impossible task on your own. Family and friends are a great support for us, although sometimes we cannot open up and they cannot always help.

I am offering a professional and person tailored approach in supporting people through their personal journey.

All appointments are confidential and conducted in a comfortable, safe and non-judgemental environment.
